1. How do I return my old product?
Your used item can be returned to InTheMarket.ie at our headquarters in Carrigtwohill, County Cork, on a like-for-like, one-for-one basis. Relevant Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge. Rechargeable batteries and used batteries are both accepted without charge. When you return used batteries, you are not required to make any purchases. Additionally, household WEEE and small batteries must be accepted without charge by each local authority at its recycling facilities. Batteries should never be disposed of in your residential wheelie bins and all WEEE must be recycled. Make sure to recycle all of your used batteries and electronics.
2. Do you take back batteries?
Yes. Our accepted battery types are AA and AAA. Unfortunately, we cannot take any returned automotive or industrial batteries.
3. Are there any fees?
No, it is completely free to return an item to our store.
4. Can I get my old product collected?
If we are delivering a new product to you and you have a like for like old product, we will take back your old one to be recycled. The electronic item must be safe to handle, clean, disconnected and ready for the driver when the new item is being dopped off.
5. Which products can be returned?
You can return any electronic item that we sell.
6. Why do you do this?
It is required by law, but more importantly, we wish to do our bit for the environment. We will make sure that your old product is disposed of properly. You can get further details on weeeireland.ie.
